Introduction
When sailing far out at sea, crews cannot just call the emergency services in the event of an accident. What’s more, a ship’s relatively small crew is also responsible for the vessel, its cargo and any passengers on board. It is therefore very important that seafarers always have the most up-to-date knowledge about safety protocols and emergency procedures.
For this reason they are obliged by international regulations to hold valid and up-to-date maritime certifications. The refresher courses shown below give an impression of this.
